Czyz Carter

Czyz Carter is a board-certified psychotherapist and telehealth provider with a master's in clinical counseling. His clinical training has given him the competence to handle complex problems, unique situations, and a variety of clients. Czyz has expertise in delivering practical, evidence-based solutions.

Czyz utilize a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) based on the client's needs:

  1. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

    • Thought Restructuring: Identifying and challenging negative thought patterns to promote healthier cognitive processes.

    • Behavioral Interventions: Implementing behavior modification techniques to address specific behaviors and reinforce positive changes.

    • Skill-Building: Equipping clients with practical coping skills to manage emotions and navigate challenges effectively.

  2. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR):

    • Trauma Processing: Using EMDR to help clients process traumatic memories, reducing their emotional charge and facilitating resolution.

    • Bilateral Stimulation: Incorporating bilateral stimulation techniques to support the reprocessing of distressing experiences and promote emotional healing.

    • Resource Installation: Utilizing EMDR for the installation of positive resources and adaptive beliefs to enhance resilience.

This integrative approach allows for a comprehensive therapeutic experience, combining the cognitive restructuring elements of CBT with the targeted trauma processing capabilities of EMDR. It aims to address a range of concerns, from managing day-to-day stressors to processing and resolving past traumas, fostering positive change and improved mental well-being.
